When you stay at WDW do you drink the water from your hotel?

And do you fill your bottle from the fountains in the park?

I think everyone will vary on this one. I personally do not drink from the fountains or hotel.I always buy bottled water. The bottled water does not cost much and tastes lovely.:upsidedow

We tend to buy big plastic water bottles from the supermarket and fill bottles from those but the water in the rooms tastes ok and we have used it for toothbrushing etc. Some of the fountains in the parks taste pretty bad, always seems worse around Cinderellas castle. I think it is fed from the water in "It's a Small World" :lmao: One thing to note is that in the parks you can go to any counter service location and ask for iced water and they will give it you quite happily.:thumbsup2

:scared1: that could be really it.. I experienced the same situation... EPCOT water fountain taste better than MK :confused3:idea::rolleyes1

We always fill our bottles from the fountains. The cooler (i.e. in the shade) fountains always seem to taste better.

(I got a brita sports bottle with integral filter for my last trip which was brilliant. I've got one filter left for this year but I haven't been able to buy more replacements - they only seem to be on sale in Australia these days.)

I use the tap water in the room to brush my teeth but tend to buy bottled water in the parks. The drinking fountain water does tend to have a funny taste - perhaps it's over chlorined.

We have also bought the packets of water flavouring powder to add to bottles filled from our room tap, but soon got fed up with that :)

Bottled... I'm not fussy about the taste of water and would be happy to drink the fountain water if it didn't give me stomach pains :headache: We buy water from Walmart or somewhere like that for the room but can never be bothered taking multiple bottles to the parks with us (weighs a ton and/or goes warm within an hour!) It does get a bit costly and I hate buying Dasani since it's essentially purified tap water but hey we're on holiday ;)

Stomach pains???!?? :scared1:

We buy the gallon bottles, about $1 at Publix. And buy a couple of half litre bottles. keep refilling from the large ones and freeze overnight, top up from fountains if needed but there are a few fountains in each park better than rest, one that is consistantly good is the one next to First Aid in MK to left of Crystal palace. Always very cold and almost tasteless.
I can live with taste from fountains but I don't like my coffee/tea made from it in hotel room.

Yeah, nothing major like... May well just be me, I don't have a delicate stomach usually but always happens with Florida water (i've tried it on 3 separate trips, same result every time )

The water is fine to drink not like in some med countries. We use tap water usually just for coffees and use fountains when we were out and about. If we take a bottle of water in we usually just fill it up at the fountains. Never had any problems with drinking it.

We always drink the water and use the fountains in the park, the water in MK does have a unique taste to it!!

Thanks for the tip about iced water, I never knew that! :thumbsup2

I read a few years ago that it was law they had to provide water free, not sure if thats correct or not. They obviously don't advertise it but many ask for it.

I never drink tap water abroad - but only because I have a sensitive tummy - were going to get a a load of mineral water shipped to our room.

We buy cheap water bottles from the garages and fill them up around the parks,i do agree that the Epcot fountain water is a lot nicer though.

As long as Florida Law hasn't changed since 08 you can go to any restaurant etc and ask for iced water and they can't charge you.

We buy bottled water,we brush our teeth with this too etc.
We use the fountains in the park's but I do agree some taste rather Bleurgh!
