I have heard so so much about the benefits of Green Tea lately that I bought some this weekend. I sweetened it with a bit of Splenda and although it tastes a little different to me I really don't see this huge difference between it and regular tea.

So does anyone drink it regularly? Do you see a difference in the way you feel or your appetite? Its supposed to be a natural appetite suppressent (sp?) and also good for you.

So advice?? Opinions??

I've had Snapple's Lime Green Tea...it was wonderful! But then and again, I've had dental work done and I'm not supposed to drink iced tea because it can stain. SO anything with the word 'tea' in it is good! ;)

Depends on the tea.

I worked for a Japanese company once and they had reeeeal green tea. Was very bitter :crazy2: and took some getting use to. But it was a great pick-me-up.

I almost always drink green tea now. Honestly, I don't think that I feel any better (or worse); I just really enjoy it more than regular tea. I'm not a big fan of the herbal and/or flavored teas but I have recently discovered Rooibos tea and I highly recommend it. It is naturally decaffeinated and it is very soothing. I also read an article about it and it is also supposed to be very beneficial. I buy the Trader Joe's brand.

I think any benefits from the green tea would be erased by using Splenda with it. You could also try honey.

I would drink it without sugar. Most of the Snapple green teas are good and most of the big tea companies make green tea now.

I just started drinking hot green tea this past week, Lipton with orange, passionfruit and jasmine. I like it but it did take alittle getting used to.

Allie322,

This is just my opinion..Why add an artificial sweetener to a healthy tea? It just doesn't make sense. I

If someone has a medical condition that requires them to stay away from sugar that's a different thing.

I drink it plain as well... and I really like it.
