to make you reminisce about DLP or make you feel like you are there again?

I have finally tracked down some Moroccan mint tea which tastes exactly like the one they serve in the Agrabah Cafe and also some Baklava. So I have just been enjoying it and reminiscing about DLP and for a split second it felt like I was back in the Agrabah

Am I the only one to do silly things like this?

DF has downloaded "just like we dreamed it" on his phone, and whenever I'm being a bit grumpy he puts it on and I soon cheer up hehe. We also have all our soaps and shower gels from the hotels lined up in the bathroom... we've been looking everywhere for the plug-in smell of the disney hotel (mmm smells like talcum powder to me) but haven't had any luck

I'll also add that pretty much anything we own that can be disney, is disney,and makes me feel at home

Since a few months you can buy the actual 'perfume' of the Disneyland Hotel at the receptions in the hotel. It costs like €13 and you get a small bag with 2 perfume thingy's (don't know how to call them exactly, they are not sprays or something).

I listen to music of DLRP a lot and I'm active at different boards, so that's how I 'try to get back home'.
Oh, and I have a lot of Disney stuff so..

It's 12,95€ for 2 "plaquettes" - hanging things that I don't remember the name of in English (so you are not alone Joyce )

You buy it at the reception or you can ask for it in Castle Club

I've started taking trips to the Disney Store all the time because they've started playing the on ride music from POTC!

Ive been in about 5 times in the past two weeks - the staff are starting to think i'm abit weird!

We have 'Disney Days' where we get up and eat croissants and have creme caramels like they have in the breakfast at HNY, then we play our Disney CDs and watch our old home movies of previous trips.

We also watch the 'Singalong Disneyland Paris' video- we've kept our video player for this reason alone!

If I'm feeling particularly homesick for DLP I stick on "Just like we dreamed it" and put the volume up . I read back my old trip reports from here too, as well as others from folk who have just returned - that helps loads.

I make myself a hot chocolate, curl up on the sofa with my laptop, earphones in and listen to a special YouTube playlist i have, our trips are always around Christmas time so it has lots of Christmas songs on it along with 'just like we dreamed it' and 'chante, c'est noel'. I then flick through pictures from past trips and read peoples trip reports

My parents and sisters think i'm a loon and my husband just looks at me and smiles like i'm 'special' when he sees me getting ready for my little 'disney me time'......but i don't care, i love doing it and will continue to do so!
