I do. I also do a stocking at Christmas. I am at a loss this year as to what to put in it. I am talking something other than candy. His mom keeps him supplied with nice chocolates. I need something else. Any ideas?

A cool gadget? DVDs? Dress clothes for work (if he is white-collar)? Tickets to a sporting event for the two of you? Things for an upcoming trip that he needs?

I love doing Easter baskets!

Nope. At our house the Easter Bunny just comes for the kids. Now that I think about that's kinda strange b/c Santa certainly fills DH's stocking.

If EB left any goodies for my DH, they might include...
iPod gift card
Pepperidge Farm Mint Milanos
lifesavers mints
maybe a DVD
postage stamps
chocolate
golf balls
Gatorade powder (he's training for a marathon)
toothbrush

That's all I can think of right now.

He gets a chocolate covered coconut egg with his name on it and that's all. The kids each get a chocolate covered peanut butter egg with their names plus a whole bunch of other goodies in a basket. I get myself a sugar free peanut butter egg because I'm always dieting this time of year.

I do a small one for the other half because if I didnt he would eat all the kid's candy. Actually he gets more candy then she does. LOL

Before this thread, I'd never heard of this before. No I don't.
It takes enough time getting my kids' baskets ready...I always do Disney-themed baskets because we always go to WDW in early May.

Wow, there are lots of great ideas for your basket OP! Anyone and everyone who comes to our house for Easter gets an Easter basket, but a traditional chocolate filled basket. Easter is my favorite holiday! I love to go all out with Easter baskets, the food, the decor. I too love filling and giving Easter baskets. :cloud9:

The EB leaves (hides) a "true" Easter basket for DS...traditional basket, fake grass, candy, small toys. For DH and myself the EB leaves candy in some of the kitchen bowls, they aren't hidden and no fancy stuff like grass or "toys"....basically, he's just making sure the grown-ups don't eat DS's goodies :rotfl:

Nope. The bunny comes only for DD and a little something for my oldest DD.

Sometimes.

He loves Whoppers so I usually get some of those-the egg shaped ones. I also pick up some jelly beans and maybe an i-tunes gift card.

It all depends on the year. We are dumping a ton of money into our house right now so we probably won't do baskets for eachother this year.

does he golf? what about tees, golf balls, passes to the driving range? or stuff for some other spring sport...or if he is more of a watcher, what about tix to a local baseball game with some snack stuff?

Nope. I do baskets for the 4 kids. A few years ago, we started growing our own grass centerpiece. That year, the EB left some specially dyed eggs in the grass with the leftover candy that didn't fit in the baskets. DD said that it must be for mommy and daddy since we didn't have baskets. Works for us!

We both do Easter baskets for each other. This year DH is getting Southern Comfort Coffee, birds nest candy and this Peeps lollipop.

We used to, but now that the kids came along, it was just TOO much candy--plus my Mom always made me one, and then one BIG one when DH came along for both of us, plus one each for the kids.
My brother and SIL give the kids Easter baskets, so when my Mom was alive, my kids were each getting 3 Easter baskets, DH and I were getting an Easter basket and we had anough candy to feed an army.
Just the kids, now.

Stockings are a whole different story-everyone gets one!

Yes - always have made DH an Easter Basket. Even when we were dating. It's mostly candy so far - I don't put that much in it. I found out I was pregnant with DS on Easter Sunday, 2004. DH was out of town but on Easter Monday when he received his basket I had put the positive test in an Easter egg.
