Do you bring any of your Disney stuff in to your work place? I hav e a few photo frames as wel as a card holder and of course my pen.esk.

How about you has your collecting overflowed in to your work place?

JudySue and I have both been in the ranks of the "Gainfully Unemployed" (retired) for over a year and a half.

Actually we both did have a lot of Disney stuff at work. (Also, I was the Magic Kingdom Club Director for the Federal Judiciary for over ten years.)

You can always tell someone who has never been in my office before. They stop just in the door and have that "Oh My God" look on their face.

My favorite pieces are the monorail magnet and the small Mickey & Walt figure (given out at a WDAC convention several years ago) which are on top of my computer (with double sided tape).
I drive co-workers crazy hitting the button on the monorail magnet. They are so tired of hearing "please stand clear of the doors, etc." Too bad, I'm not!

yup! I have some overflow and duplicate plush
on my desk, plus color photos of all my souvenir
pictures from the park many many pictures of
park vacations all over, plus color copies hanging
of Disney DVD covers (I work in the print shop,
so I can make color copies of anything I want!)
I also have a set of those Kellogs bobble heads
and a set of ancient candy tube toppers that
my boss found in his house and brought to me
(they are like the pin set of International Mickeys)!

I have a cup on my desk with a "bouquet" of Mickey ears pencils, one pen, and the various shaped pencils from MGM -- musical notes from Rockin' Roller Coaster, hammer from Tool Time, etc. :earsgirl:

Ummmm........yeah.....There are pictures and pins in my office area, but my pin gallery (where I have meets) is connected to where I work so I guess I could say I have quite an extensive Disney collection at work. LOL

You have a MAGNET on your MONITOR?????? :earseek: :earseek: If I was your company's IT guy, I would throw a fit!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm surrounded by Snow and the Dwarfs at work!!!! I have the entire desk set...tape dispenser, rolodex, paper clip holder, pen & pencil holder etc, plus a snow & dwarfs desk fountain. I also have a few of the dwarf beanies. My computer wallpaper also features the dwarfs and my screensaver is pics from my most recent dis trip! There is aways a good natured collective groan from my co-workers when I announce that I've booked yet another trip.

I work in children's media...just so I can display my stuff. lol I've got Disney, Sesame Street, Nickelodeon, and Dr. Seuss all over the place, and the funny thing is you can't tell where work ends and my obsessions begin. :) It's not unusual around here to see offices full of toys.

Right now I don't have a permanent work space -- but I am surrounded by Disney. :jester: ;) :)
:bounce:

Glad to see I am not the only one... :)

Where do I start? My computer wallpaper is some pic I took at WDW, my Tigger mug, my Eeyore business card holder, statue of Figment, Figment musical instrument framed set, Maleficent dragon sericel, Maleficient and Diablo sericel, Fantasia LE 12 framed pin set (thanks forever to JoJoCt) next to the sericel of Ben AliGator lifting Hycynthia Hippo, next to the Chernabog calling the spirits to play framed pin set and lastly the Mary Poppins 40th Anniversary framed pin set. I think that's it.....but don't quote me.

My office is full of Villains!!! Blacks, purples and grays are everywhere (with a few Mickey's hidden within). About a year ago, I started on the "wear a different Disney pin everyday plan". I figure that with the current pins that I have (ofcourse it grows daily) it should take me 15+ years to wear a pin twice.

My office is still in the just moved in looking stage of development. I hesitate to decorate it.

The main reason is that even though I have been with the office for almost 9 years, there seems to be some sort of jinx on those that decorate their offices. The decorators all seem to end up fired. I can't afford that. lol

I have plans to do some Disney touches to the office, but it's more a matter of finding what I want first.

Cross your fingers that ::MickeyMo doesn't bring the jinx to my office. ;) Maggie

ok, ok, I have to admit that my classroom certainly relects my love of Disney - my students have brought in lots of Mickey related things for my desk; I have the photos of my students and the school Disney trips out; I have even brought Mickey into my classroom through worksheets on his birthday - a nice break for 6th graders who can still feel like kids!!!:teacher:

Thanks Nat for starting this topic!!! Caroline
