DH & I are leaving this Friday for our 2nd trip to Disney & 1st time at CSR. I bought White lights & have a small 2' tree that we have thought about bringing to decorate our rooms window. Have any of you stayed at a MOD before & decorated your window? I don't want to look stupid if no one else does this. I have read on these boards about folks decorating & love the idea but wasn't sure if this is "unclassy" for this resort. We are not familiar with Mod resort etiquette and don't want to embarrass us.

I have suction cups & window cleaner to use. Does anyone know if there are outlets in the room or close to the window? I even have a timer to turn them on right before we get back in the evening. Any idea how big the window is?

Am I just being foolish? Maybe we will just leave it home. We are going for a week. Just thought it would be special.:santa:

Any thoughts?

We will be at CSR on Sun. (Nov. 25). We will be there the week and we are decorating our window! I have a small Princess tree with lights, disney window clings, and mouse ears (paint samples) for our door. SO, go for it!! Can't answer your other questions as this is our first stay at CSR.

Thank you so much Alice for your response! Now that I know I will not be alone we will bring the decorations! :woohoo:

I'm not sure if anyone will see them besides us because crazy that we are, we requested the Ranchos! It just really appealed to us! And while we aren't big exercise buffs:rotfl2: we will enjoy seeing all of the resort and hopefully a little quiet.

I'll keep my eyes out for your window, I didn't get the paint mickey heads but do have a mickey punch to make my own!:thumbsup2

Have a safe trip & great time!

We went to CSR last year after Thanksgiving. I decorated our window with Christmas window clings and put Home Depot Mickey heads on our door. I didn't see any other rooms decorated, but I plan on decorating again this year. I don't think it's foolish or unclassy- just festive:santa:

It was fun to come back at night and be able to spot our room from a distance :goodvibes . I'm sorry I don't remember the size of the window and I'm not sure about outlets. :confused3

Have a great trip ladybug (and Alice, too!) :yay: :yay:

I've seen pics of other guest that decorated their windows. Have a great time!!

Here are some CSR x-mas pics to get you in vacation mode!!

Enjoy your trip! It will be so beautiful this time of year! :thumbsup2

Ok, the Princess purple Christmas tree is packed, I bought lights for the window and disney clings. I will be the tackiest room in CSR BUT I will be in the spirit.:rotfl: We are just about to explode with excitement tonight. Sign my mickey heads on the door if you see them, please! Have a wonderful trip fellow DISers.

We will also be checking in tomorrow (very late), and I'm definitely decorating our window and door, so look for us too! (I've requested Cabanas 8A)

Please take pictures of your window to post when you get back and I will too.
