Do you decorate your DVC villas?

Brought a teeny tree last year -- small but really cute. Wanted to bring lights but it was just too much for us. Maybe in Xmas 09 if we do an Xmas Disney.

OK- first off, with the charges being put upon us with the airlines, how the heck do you guys get those trees down there?

Last year I brought tinsel, big bows, a string of lites and an extension cord to decorate the balcony of our unit-we love seeing all the decorations the DVC members put up-and low and behold-we were the last unit in the building (BCV) and our deck faced a bunch of trees!! Oh well. This year, I'm bringing a big stocking to hang on our door and bought one of those removal tape hook things to hang it with.

Keep up the decorating, we love it all!!

We bought our plane tickets in January and fell under the old rule of 2 pieces of luggage per person:banana: . I am taking my decorations and small tree down in one of my suitcases. I have a print out of the rules just in case I am given a hard time about my luggage.:santa:

I love seeing everyone's balcony decor.... we usually stay at OKW and the rooms overlooking golf courses with window decor, garland and lights on the balcony.... LUUUUUv it!!! We took a tree one year and decorated but had a balcony facing the woods overlooking the parkway!! booo! anyway, fantasy ruined... but I loved going to sleep and seeing the twinkling lights.

Bring your traditions and the things you love.... you won't be disapppointed... and as someone else said, take a tour of the lobbies of various resorts... we don't miss Wilderness, Beach, Boardwalk, Poly, GF, CR... they all have gingerbread contests and it is soooo cool! WL had a train running thru a gingerbread train station... that was waaay cool! Beach Club used to have an Ariel tree with a running water fountain thru it (1994)... enjoy!:lovestruc

We spent Halloween at OKW and brought a few of our own halloween decorations with us and we will probably do the same for our Christmass trip where we are staying at VWL.
Easy to pack things such as a doormat and wreath with a string of lights or so.

We decorate. I have spent the past few weeks gathering odds and ends for our Christmas trip. We're putting up a tree, stockings, garland and a few other goodies.

Michelle-as always, your photos are awesome. Love your villa!
We decorate for Christmas! :santa:

We ship our 4 foot tree, ornaments and extra lights and good extension via FedEx. Costs us $9.99 last year and when we checking in it was flagged in the Front Desk Computer that we had a package waiting.....EASY...:santa:

DisneyPirate: How long are you in WDW when you do this?

Yep, we decorate. :thumbsup2 We always decorate inside and out for Halloween and Christmas. We do lights, clings and garland. Then as we buy souveniers, they get scattered around for extra decoration. :goodvibes
