I used to do and then when I got sick well it stopped! I am going to start using them again! I think tonight I will sit and cut and file them! :goodvibes

I do off and on. I'll go a while without doing it and then get back into it and cut like crazy! The problem with me is that I'll cut all the coupons and then buy stuff I wouldn't normally buy, just because "I have a coupon for that"!!! I tend to spend more money on stuff I don't really need, just because I'm getting a good deal on it. I have to be better on it and just cut the ones that are the stuff that I actually use!

I used to cut out everything I thought I might buy, just got to be to much. Now I just use certain ones. If I filed them I always forgot to use them

Oh yes! I cut them every week and use them! It's a game for me...I saved $15 with coupons this week....I only cut coupons for things I buy....DH laughs because as soon as the Sunday paper arrives, he goes right for the front section to read about what's going on and I dig though for the coupons :)

at our local stop & shop we use a couponless savings card.. we don't get a newspaper so we never have manufacturer's coupons..

I do, tho it was a lot more fun when we lived in L.A. The local grocery store would double up to a $1, and also have their sales coincide with the manufacturer's coupons that week, AND had buy 1 get 1 free. I would come out of there feeling like I just robbed them! Oh, they also had a card they'd scan for even MORE deals.

Lately it seems the coupons expire too quickly, and the deals aren't as great here in FL - So I don't use as many coupons. But I still cut them, just in case.

not anymore. I use to cut and file them every week, but I stopped several years ago. I rarely buy anything they have coupons for and still managed to save 46% or $78 dollars off my grocery bill this week.

Our grocery store is also like this to some extent. We get the double coupons, as well as the store "card" that offers other sales. Sometimes they have sales that coincide with the coupons, but not always. I cut coupons every weekend, and try to use the circulars to save even more money. I had my best week ever a few weeks ago, where I saved a total of $43, using both in-store sales, as well as double coupons. I came home with a lot of stuff, but it was all stuff we will use, and I didn't have to shop again for a couple of weeks after.

Hey, we have similar screen names!

And I agree with your take on the coupon situation here in Florida. They seem to expire within a month where I remember them having a year usually to expire. And in NY they had double coupons at certain stores. I haven't seen that anywhere in Florida.

Every Sunday. I use store coupons that print when I buy certain things, coupons in the paper and I get coupons in the mail for my toddler from pampers or Babies R' Us. I love to save a buck or two.

I do!!!

My store does double value up to 99 cents. If a competitor is offering triple value, then we match their triple value for the week, plus we also have the card. Some weeks I do really, really good, other weeks..not so good.

What I really hate are the cereal coupons, they used to be 1.00 off 2 boxes, now a lot of them are 1.00 off on 3 or 4 boxes.

I have a blue coupon filer that goes with me whenever I buy groceries or go to Walmart. I think I annoy the cashiers.:teeth:

When I bought groceries last week, I saved almost $12 with my coupons (my grocery store doubles up to $1), and I saved $50 something with the bonus card thing from the store.

I am afriad if I used coupons, the cashier might question my manhood

I clip them, I just never get around to using them! Either I forget to bring them, or I can't find the product on the shelf, or I have the kids with me and am too distracted to keep track of things.

But I buy a lot of store brands anyway - and those are cheaper than name brand foods, even with a coupon.

If it is something I use a lot and always buy - like my haircolor or shampoo, I do make a point of using those.

I use coupons most of the time. It does really help in cutting down the grocery bill if you prepare ahead of time. I don't always get the chance to sit with the store ad & my coupon caddy in front of me, but when I do, that's the week I save the most $$$$!

I also only cut out the coupons on items I use or something I'd really like to try.

I do! I learned how to do this from my mother. I used to be so embarrassed to go in line with her at the store with all of her coupons, now I'm guilty of it too! I save them all up for a while, then I use them. It takes a couple of hours in the store with me and my dh, but we save so much money, and we get things that we wouldn't normally buy. Our best so far is spending roughly 200.00 for 500.00 in groceries, using Vons club and coupons. Time consuming, but for families on a budget, very worth it!
