Do you confuse the pictures people use with the posters?

I do all the time and never really realized it. For some bizarre reason I always pictured Stepharoonie as kinda an older Maddy. And Julie_Yet, well, she looks just like Orlando Bloom right? And then there are all the people I associate with their avatars. Do other people do this? Or am I weird? Never mind, I know I am weird...I meant about this specifically.

I do that all the time. I also think of what they look like according to where they work and that stereotype. When I see an actual picture of them it is shocking.

I usually associate people with their avatar and signature pictures. I'm not as bad about it on this board, but I'm really bad for it on another board I live on. When someone changes their avatar or siggy I think it's a new person or something.

ok maybe its just the one eyeball thing i got going but i think maddy and her mommy look alike nd i'm same way i never seem to have ppl pictured the way they look but then,, ppl tend to think i'm short fat bald and green,, and i haventt been that color in years

You are not weird - I completely do that.

And I kept that in mind when I went from Eeyore to Belle in my avatar. I love both characters, but can relate more to Belle.

Sometimes the usernames throw me off, too. It took a long time looking at emmagata's name before I focused in on the "John" signature - all I could see was "Emma".

Yes, I do wonder if the pictures I see in signatures and in the avitors are the poster's pictures. I especially get confused because I do not keep up with the young singers and actors and people sometimes have those people in their posts and I think that is the poster.

Carl just so you know, I'm not in my picture. Guess that's sort of obvious since there are only males in my siggy and avatar and I'm a female.

I once responded to a post that I thought was written by one person, but actually it was a different person with the same avatar! OOOOPS! Caused some confusion, but no harm done.

BTW--I do tend to wear sunglasses a lot since my eyes are very sensitive to light, but otherwise I do not look like my avatar.
