Do you collect Disney merch? What's in your house right now? Regrets?

I thought of a regret! I didn't buy a personalized brick in the Esplanade and always regretted that. Did anyone else get one?
We wanted one and didn't get it because money was so tight. I can't say that I have regrets about not getting it, because it would have been frivolous at the time. If we had the money, it would have been really cool to look at it all these years.

I have a lot of Disney stuff sprinkled all over my house! My favorites are my Haunted Mansion stretching room canvases and my vintage Disneyland sign. I also have a Madame Leota on my fireplace, and a few framed attraction posters.

I used to collect pressed pennies, but that tradition has sadly died since I've lost enthusiasm with the new machines...it was so much better when you could use your own penny!

Love this thread!

My daughter has several sets of ears (her Moana ones seem pretty unique and always get lots of compliments) and several spirit jerseys. No regrets!

I have four pairs of Disney crocs (a few are pretty much dead - puppy chewed them up); but very practical and fun! We have a couple years worth of family Christmas ornaments, and I have some coffee mugs. Sunglasses are my go to practical souvineer (although nothing new or unique lately); and I have some cute kitchen stuff (dish towels, coasters, and measuring cups and spoons). Its an easy gift for my teen kiddos to buy for mom. Love the memories!

OH, YES!!!! I've always regretted that I didn't buy one. My friend bought one (I hadn't met her yet at the time the bricks were a thing) and we often looked for it when we were at the park. I loved it--the brass castle is so cool. I have really regretted not having done that, though at the time it seemed kind of frivolous when I had 3 expensive kids to raise LOL.

Yeah, I'm the same way with the pennies. Used to purposely save rx bottles that could fit quarters and pennies for the parks, but since they're not done the same way, they've totally lost their attraction for me and my kids.

Your signs are great! Love seeing things like this that are a bit out of the ordinary, especially if they have a vintage look about them. Especially love that Disneyland one!

I have a few pairs of ears, 1 Loungefly bag (I buy bags to use vs display), lots of shirts and I used to collect pins but I sold my collection years ago as I lost interest. I collected only Pluto pins and I had SO many. Took forever to sell everything and some pins sold for $200-500 each.

The first time I ever went to Disneyland (2013, I think. Cars Land existed so sometime after 2012) I bought a set of Tiki Room coasters as I am a huge fan of the show and they've been in a storage container in my basement ever since 😅 I did recently take them out and frame them. Maybe they'll be hanging on my bedroom wall in the next decade if I'm lucky.

My most recent Disney related collection consists of this section of my room dedicated to Chandu, the tiger from Sinbad's Storybook Voyage in Japan. Uh....I think he's neat. LOL

Speaking of tiki mugs, I bought one with my drink once from Duke's in Huntington Beach. It's clear glass. One year my daughter and I decided to have a party and make tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki rums. I was wishing I had more of those clear glass tiki mugs when it dawned on me that I should look online. Sure enough, I found a case of them on ebay LOL and the party was on!! They were kind enough to give me the tiki rum recipe at TS's :)

Not the same as TS's mugs, but a lot more affordable/expendable...!
These mugs were sold at the gift shop at the Polynesian at WDW so I bought like, 6. 😆 I love using them for when I make cocktails at home or sometimes I pour beer into them.

They ruined the pennies IMHO: it's just not the same. Kinda like when slot machines quit giving you nickels...haven't been in a casino since.

I built a 4ft by 8ft wall to hang my wife's ears. She wears the spirit jerseys on special occasions. We collect very specific pins. She has two Dooney and Bourkes (all black pattern and a haunted mansion wallpaper).

We went into this knowing it can get out of hand. We have only gotten the very best. I regret zero purchases.

But it is REALLY cute! I thought of you when I saw it 😊
And it has the adorable matching sweater, too. I would have bought it but I just bought a purse for my Dapper Day outfit and couldn't justify spending that much in one week! Hopefully there will be a coupon for the skirt sometime. I feel like it's my destiny.
