"Debil" - never saw The Waterboy with Adam Sandler? His mother in that movie thinks everything is the "devil", but she says "debil". Anyway, I thought it was funny...

Oooooooooohhhhhhh -- I get it now!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Sorry, I forgot all about The Waterboy!! :teeth:

Voted yes because we carve a pumpkin, watch the Peanuts special "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!", and hand out candy to trick or treaters.

Not my favorite holiday though. I don't decorate for it inside. Some years I have been known to wear my Jasmine costume, but since my kids are so much older and no longer trick or treat themselves, this holiday is slowly morphing into just another day.

Yes, we sure do!
My dd wants to be Pippi Longstocking this year. Cheap costume!!! :teeth:

YES! It's my kids favoride holiday - right behind their birthdays.

However we call it Samhain. Nothing better than a big bonfire on a crisp fall night.

I've just learnt what Samhain is, did a quick Google search - very interesting. :)

Yes, we decorate and give out candy, and take DS trick or treating.

My family are not big on celebrating Halloween. I haven't been a "witch" since I was a teenager! :rotfl:

Not since our DD grew out of trick or treating. I decorate a little and give out candy, but that's about all.

We usually go to the campground the weekend before halloween and celebrate there, but this year FEMA has taken it over. I am trying to convince the kids to go to the movies. We'll see.

No.

It's not so much for religious reasons or that I think it's evil or anything. I just choose to celebrate things that have a happy component, like all of the other holidays. Halloween just confuses me. :confused3 I realize that some people love it, but I don't get it.

Does putting on a crazy costume and getting drunk at PI count as celebrating?

Halloween is fun. We always celebrate it. Besides, its an excuse to eat candy :teeth:

I put sometimes because I do it for the kids - at work, and now at home. If I'm not around kids I pay no attention to the holiday.
