Do you carry a camera around at all times while in WDW or do you only bring it some of the time? My digital camera is tiny, so it's no bother. But my video camera is a pain in the rear to tote around, but hubby insists. Am I the weird one or is he? LOL

Plan on bringing both most days. My camera also takes video so we may just "locker" the video for potions of the day at the end of the trip when we have gotten all the "firsts" on "film"

I take my camera almost everywhere in my daily life, so of course I would take it to the parks with me!!

If he wants to take it then he has to carry it. :rotfl2:

yes bring it, some of my best photos are when we are just walking around the park and both of you should have a camera with you because you never know when a magical moment will hapen

Yes, well.....I have one very large, nice camera that has a nice backpack carrying case and I bring that along most days, but some days I just bring a smaller camera in a regular backpack.

I just got back from a trip to Canada and carried my Canon 40D around every day in the carrying case. It got very heavy, but the pictures were worth it!

Sure do. I only take the video camera a few times, but my camera- EVERYWHERE. I come home with about 350 pictures, not counting photopass. If I'm spending all of my $ on a great time, I want to be able to relive the trip thru my photos!:santa:

My camera is with me almost all the time, even during everyday life, and I've gotten a lot of great pics of my DD in the most mundane places. So definitely all the time at WDW (but no video camera, though)

I take my camera everywhere in WDW. Usually around my neck most of the day - I like to have it ready to go.

I have a little digital camera that goes with me at all times. I also have a much bigger Digital SLR camera that goes out on occasion.

Just got back from our first trip and took my digital camera everywhere. And at some character greetings it was a good thing because there wasn't a photopass photographer there (at least 3 characters we met, Buzz Lightyear, Pinnochio, and Donald Duck, didn't have a photographer with them). I kind of wish I had taken video sometimes, but didn't. My digital can do that too, so I had the option, just never stopped to do it. I don't think I would've wanted to lug around a separate video camera too, though, so I agree that DH should carry that if he wants to bring it!

a vast majority of the time I have a dslr, point and shoot and camcorder. Totlal touristy geek. The camcorder fits in cargo short pocket so I only really have to lug the dslr case.

I always have a camera with me every second of vacation - WDW or otherwise. I love taking pictures! I do not, however, bring and use the camcorder everywhere; I have a small one that DH bought me for Christmas last year but I tend to use that for the kids' concerts/events more than on vacation.

My SLR went with us everyday in Feb. But we have a stroller that I can put it on, LOL! This year I might forgo the SLR for the p&S. We'll see.

We took our camera and video camera everyday last year in WDW. My nephew,4, was with us. Had he not been there (it was his first trip to WDW) we probably wouldn't have brought the video camera.

My camera is also my video camera. I love it. And it fit in my pocket. I keep it with me all the time, even at home.

That is exactly what I was going to say. I never go anywhere without my camera. Video camera, somedays, but mostly just use the video mode on my regular camera.

I always take my camera everywhere I go at WDW- I also have a water digital camera- I take that too- just in case it rains. LOL
