I didn't on my past two trips, and I highly doubt we will on this one.

Neither of us like lying in the sun (I throw a towel over my head usually because the sun beating down on me just makes me ill if I'm sitting in it with no shade) - it's kinda funny, too, because I don't burn/peel and tan REALLY easily (there was one time, but I'd spent three full days in salt water with no protection (I was young and my mum wasn't particularly careful..) before anything started happening). I'm sure some girls who love to sunbathe would like to have my skin (but we've all got things we like and dislike about our bodies).

I'm going to get one of those plastic waterproof things for our keys/money and chuck our clothes and stuff in the locker.

Anyone else not bother with the sun loungers in the waterpark?

(Besides, you can always jump in the lazy river and relax for a few trips 'round!)

We just find 1 or 2 chairs near a landmark, so we remember where everything is. We are too busy in the wave pool and slides to "catch some rays".

Well it depends on if you plan on being there all day. We were for just a few hours at TL and didn't even use the chairs.

We never get a chair. (DH, DS6 and me) We put everything in a locker and we're off, non-stop through the water parks all day. No time to rest! My son even takes the "lazy" out of lazy river!

We just rented a locker and put our stuff in it and had the locker key around our wrist and just played as long as we wanted. We never took time to sit...
We will probably do the same thing for our Oct. trip. But, we don't like to lay in the sun either...

I like having the chair to use as a "home base". Plus, it handy to put our towels someplace. Also, if you are there all day it is nice to sit down too.

We do not get a lounger. I grab a couple of those small chairs, or if at BB we grab half a picnic table instead.

we just get a locker for our clothes and towels. We do go back to the locker to get flip flops to go into the bathroom, the thought of going in barefoot makes me sick :crazy2: other than that we only need a few dollars that hubby carries.

It is just myself DH and DD 12 so we do not seperate so we have no use for a home base

hi
yes always have a lounger preferably by a picnic table in the shade, we go to the water parks every other day mainly to relax and read and laze in the shade in the morning and out on the sandy bit in the aftenoon. the first couple of days we do the rides in both parks then on the last day we repeat our favourite rides. - usually crush-n-gusher now!! maybe an u.k. thing have to go to the seaside for a holiday!

We usually just get 1 lounger for the 3 of us. We can all sit on it when we take a snack break.

It's good to see that there are plenty of people like me and BF then - we thought we might have been the odd ones out!

I guess it depends on the family structure though and the age groups involved.
