Do you Book at 6 months out?

When does everyone finally book the trip? I have always done 6 months out so I can also book my ADR's. Can you do one without the other? Also, if you book 6 months out what are the chances of getting a PIN? If you are already booked I can't imagine Disney sending out a PIN?

I book my resort as soon as they release the following year. Then I wait for my 180 day mark.

You can bood ADRs without a reservation; you just can't take advantage of the 180+10 perk for having an on-property reservation. I pretty sure I've heard of people getting PINs who've already booked, (although not necessarily for their dates), but even if you don't, that doesn't mean that a public offer won't come out.

I book whenever I want to go. Sometimes it's two weeks before the trip, sometimes it's a year before the trip.

I've found lots of great restaurants and times booking ADR's last minute and I've never, ever received a pin so I don't rely on that.

We book as soon as we decide when we're going....We don't care about ADR' s...or pins....We always do room only, secure our room then watch for discounts and apply as necessary.

I usually book about 12-9 months out. This trip I booked 7 months out, but nearly booked in January and February. In fact I booked and cancelled in Feb. I just wasn't sure but finally in May they confirmed some details about the Military Salute that I was on the fence about.

I've yet to receive a PIN from Disney for anything.
