I think there are aliens. I don't know about a general conspiracy. But then, I watch Stargate far too much. I'd say if the aliens are of superior intelligence, they'd keep tabs on us without coming into contact with us.

I don't believe there are aliens in our solar system, nor that any have tried to contact earth, but I do believe that there are other planets with life. Think about it- every one of the billions of stars out there has the possibility of being surrounded by other planets much as our sun is. The chances that not a single one of those other planets has life is very slim.

Of course. I believe there is life out there, but not necessarily that their are evil aliens ready to take us over. For us to be the only life in the universe would be like sowing a fied with wheat and only having one grain grow.

I do believe that it's possible in all the vastness of space that there can be other life forms out there. I do not believe in the evil alien trying to abduct us or take over the world. I also do not believe that there is a big government conspiracy to hide the truth about aliens.

I think that using the term "aliens" is what puts people off. It makes people envision skinny green guys with giant heads and almound shaped big black eyes. Most people are going to say "no" to this question based on this assumption, or based on their fear of the unknown, or perhaps even their religious views. For many people if "God" didn't say he did it, then it can not exist.

Has no one here ever taken an astronomy class? Ever heard of the Drake equation? While it isn't anywhere near being exact...it is probably what Angie was trying to get at.

The vastness of the Universe is just something many people can not grasp. We look at things as having limitations and boundaries. Buildings are surrounded by walls, if you travel far enough around the world (because it is circular) you will end up where you began...why? Because there is a starting and stopping point. But the universe can not be looked at from this mentality. You have to shed your preconceived notions about how things are "supposed" to be, and try to get your head around the real understanding of how things actually are. In the "grand" scheme our tiny planet Earth is nothing.

Try to imagine one grain of sand on one beach by one ocean on the planet earth. Imagine being on the moon and trying to locate that one grain. Now multiply that by infinity. Hard to grasp isn't it? But just because you yourself do not have the ability to understand something so immense and profound doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Do I believe in Aliens? As they are portrayed in our current culture....NO. Do I believe in life forms on planets other than our own...absolutely.

I believe that the chances are very high that some other life form (s) exist in the universe. Look at all of the other galaxies out there, couldn't life have evolved in a similar pattern in another solar system?

Have they been here? I couldn't tell you. Is the gov. covering it up? I doubt it.

I don't beleive in aliens in the form of little green men from Mars, but I reckon there must be some other form of life out there in that BIG universe of ours...it's a terrible waste of space if there isn't!
