Do you apply for PI's and CP's at the same time?

I want to do the CP..but I also want to try doing a PI. I know the PI positions are going to be posted Aug. 1 and CP applications are sometime in Sep. Do most people apply to both at the same time? Will I get accepted to the CP before I find out about PI acceptance?

If the CP is your backup plan, go ahead and apply for both. You are going to find out about the CP WAY before the PI. Good luck!

Also, I know about CP housing (vista, patterson, etc.) But, do all PI's live in Northbridge? Do you apply for that or do they just put PI's in Northbridge? If I did CP first then did PI (you can do CP after you graduate and then go do a PI right after CP) would I live in vista/patterson/etc and then have to move to Northbridge for the PI?

if you wish to live at northbridge, you can, its a lottery system so they put you in the lottery, and you can get picked to live there, tho its a 30 min drive from disney and not exactly a nice place to live from hearing what other people say, you do have the option of finding your own place. once you get selected for a PI, you would need to move to northbridge, if you get picked to live there, or as i mentioned above, you can find your own place. however, if you decide to do a management internship, you need to get your own place, you can't live in northbridge or apply to live there.

If you accept the CP then get a PI you'll just need to contact your recruiter and they should be able to help you out. One of the girls on this board had that happen to here for this fall program, but everything worked out and she started her PI in July.
