Seriously folks, I am leaving in less than 6 weeks. I eat, breathe and sleep ways to save on my upcoming trip. I come to these boards at least 5 times a day, just in case there is something I may have missed. I am a regular now at the local dollar store buying up little things to aid in organization. I check the car rental website everyday, just in case the price went down. Do the same with the airfare. I am now obsessing about the scrapbook I will be doing when I get home. I have purchased so many stickers, and scrapbooking things, it's really a sad thing. I have never done a scrapbook before - am I crazy??
Is there other people who have the Dis.com as there home page for their internet settings?
I already have a packing list started and my suitcase out.
I think I have officially gone Disney crazy....
Please, tell me I am not the only one!:earseek:

You are not alone! That's why we are all here!

Scratch
Disney

I'm so totally the same way....my hubby thinks maybe I should mention it to the doctor...but then I tell him about ALL my friends on the Dis board...then I guess he thinks I'm just as 'normal' as the rest of you.::yes::

C'mon.... there are worse things one could be addicted to ya know!

I am the same, especially when planning a trip, or helping someone else plan a trip, in between trips I love to browse or read trip reports.
I cannot go to Limeridge Mall in Hamilton without a trip to the Disney store to feed my habit, and get my disney fix.

Deb.

I'm reading this aren't I?? And I don't even have an upcoming trip - may not be able to go until March but may be able to squeeze a short trip in in Jan. I just get a blast out of checking these pages.

Count me in on this one!! I have a calendar and schedule of events made months before we travel-with a copy for each member of our travelling party-all done up in small binders-with disney colouring pages, stickers, word searches. The members of my family think I'm nuts. The youngest traveller is DS and he's 16. Ask Scratch-she saw us in the airport at Easter and the girl's (18 and 19) were both colouring their itineraries and doing word searches in their little books (crayons included of course). DH's book also had the same stuff in it but he also had the car rental info, the limo info, reservations etc (also crayons included). I'm on these boards (and others) so much DH thinks it's part of my job description!

oh my goodness... so nice to know I'm not alone!!lol

I just went out and spent a fortune in new socks for everyone in my family for our trip in October..... dh asked me where he should put them and so I told them the suitcase.... he laughed at me b.c the suitcase already held new T's for the boys and water shoes and a whole bunch of other things I've already picked up!!lol

I'm here pretty much every week day and I also check the car rental site weekly!!

IS IT OCTOBER YET????

BitsandBearsMom-looks like we'll be there the same time!

Maybe we can obsess together for the next 80 days!

I am sooo glad to hear there are others out there like me! We don't leave until December and I do check the boards first thing when I wake up, then continuously throughout the day--I even wake up in the middle of the night:crazy: !!
I'm in a panic that every detail be "just right"! I do that with lots of things--drives my family nuts! Glad to hear there are more like me!

Obsessing right along with you..... 80 days and counting but we are there for 2 weeks and spend week #2 actually IN Disney. Oct 14th MNSSHP too.... I feel like I'm gonna go crazy waiting:crazy:

The one thing I forgot to mention which is great for we who "suffer" OCD is the "Passporter"--it's a life saver! It helps you get everything so totally organized that you don't have to fret about forgetting anything!
I have the deluxe which comes in a leather looking binder--I am not kidding it covers every possible detail that OCD people stress about! Definately worth the money as it eases pre-trip anxiety.....:cheer2:
Never thought I'd say this about a book-no wonder my husband thinks I'm nuts-I love my Passporter:love:

Somehow I knew this thread would be about an obsessiveness towards WDW & the planning.

DH just made me VERY happy. He come home yesterday from work with the news that a colleague is dreaming of taking her small family to WDW & wants some info on how we did it. Hee hee! It's crazy how much I love to spread the word about this place & mousesavers now.

I'm wondering now if part of the reason I booked our Dec. 2005 1st ever cruise was so I could justify reading more of The Dis Boards daily! I'd better not ever click on the DVC section...

:hyper:

My DH is so patient with me! I honestly don't know how he puts up with me.

We are not going until July 2005 but I have already started planning, making lists, created a calendar with scheduled 'events' for each day and reviewed maps for driving down.

Our neighbours are flying down this Thursday and I already have a package of stuff put together for them. We will be watching their house so when they come over tomorrow to hand off the keys I will turn over my pkg. of goodies!

I am a NUT CASE but he still loves me!!!
