Do you agree with this Ridemax itinerary?

On our first morning (Sunday June 24th) Ridemax is sending us to Nemo first. Then Autopia and Buzz. Then we head to Jungle Cruise and to get an Indy FP for my husband. Then it sends us to Tarzan's Treehouse before Winnie the Pooh, Haunted Mansion and POTC. Then back to use the Indy FP. Does that sound right or should we bump the Treehouse to later after the rides?:confused3

I would say just fit the treehouse in when it works for you. It has been closed for quite a while, so it night not even be an issue.:)

You have to use another day (like Saturday or Friday) as your "date" and plan to adjust some times.

Definitely bump the treehouse. It's a walk through, so no line to speak of other than slow-going on crowded days. It's generally not one of the more popular attractions, so it's never too bad.

(And if you miss it, it's not a big loss IMO.)

Remember that part of what RideMax is optimizing is minimal walking time. So if you are close to the treehouse it may send you there. I agree with others that it is irrelevant what time of day one does the treehouse so just do it whenever it best suits you and disregard RideMax in this area.

Is the treehouse back open yet? It was still shut down as of the last time we went (I'm trying to remember which day we were there...last Wednesday I think).

The treehouse is a lot of fun for 3 year olds. Lots of stuff to climb and make noise with. My advice would be to get the Indy FP, then do Jungle Cruise, then hit Critter Country and work your way back - Pooh (and don't forget there is a Pooh/Tigger/Eeyore meet & greet right outside the ride exit), HM, PotC, and then while your DH is riding Indy, you could take your DS to the treehouse (if it is open).

I'm not familiar with Ride Max itineraries, but is it true they have folks touring for 2-3 hours prior to picking up a FP?

Totally depends on the day of the week, time of the year, and what the user selects for desired rides. It is true that when I have used RideMax they often have the FP pickups a little later than I would like so I jump ahead and pick them up early when possible. But not 2-3 hours late typically for me.

If that is the most efficient way to complete the desired itinerary then yes, it won't have people picking up a FP for 2-3 hours after opening. Keep in mind when the user inputs desired attractions, it gives the most efficient way to complete that list AND NOTHING MORE. So if the list is light on fast pass attractions, particularly if those attractions do not go through their fast passes quickly, it might indeed not have the first fast pass pick up for 2-3 hours. Adding things to it could change the order of what it just spit out quite a bit, or not at all depending upon what is the most efficient order to complete the new itinerary.

Getting to the OP's itinerary, I can tell you what Ridemax was thinking. I recall a similar itinerary and I gave similar results.

She's got Nemo over on the TL side of the park. It's far more important to get there than to get that first fast pass when you're only doing one fast pass attraction in the itinerary. Once there, she's got Autopia, which can build long waits quickly, is out in the sun, AND the fast pass line itself can fill up and it's right next to Nemo. Can you say spillover? I'd put that second too.
Buzz is normally of lesser importance but it's her last ride over there and there could be some spillover there too.
I would have had her getting the FP for Indy next, but ridemax has the cruise next. The time difference in the return time of the indy fast pass was probably such that it wouldn't make much difference time wise, so it opted to save walking time. The tree house is curious. I'm sure ridemax determined that it wouldn't make all that much difference time wise on the rides placed after it and put it where it was convenient. The rest is pretty straight forward. She's got rides that do build mid day, but don't build long waits quite as quickly.

So yes. I'd agree with ridemax here.
