Do you agree with everything your political party does?

Wicked concept there! Frankly I always thought all politicians were *****, and you voted for the one least offensive.

The concept that I would advocate entirely along party-lines is interesting. What foolishness.

No, I don't agree with eveerything my political party does or that the leaders of my political party do. Actually of late, I find myself disagreeing more than agreeing. But then I don't agree with the other side either. :confused3

i used to agree with much of what my party did. now, i don't agree with a lot of it. i disagree with the other side equally though, so i am SOL, i guess. :confused3

I can't imagine agreeing with everything anybody does (except me, of course! ;) ), and certainly not when it comes to politics.

Nope, I sure don’t. I just pick the party that is closer to my beliefs.

I've voted for Republicans, Democrats and Independants. I guess that means no I don't identify or agree with any one parts.

I too am a member of the SOL political party.

I used to, but then they opened Stitch's Great Escape and the Lights Motor Action show, and I had to start reconsidering things... :)

I don't, but then like most people I don't belong to a political party. I may lean more toward the Libertarians than any other party, but even then it's not close to everything.

I vote for the person, not the party, which I think is what most people do. Just consider me a demopublican or a Republicrat. :teeth:

I do not vote along party lines and do not agree with all that any political party says and thinks. I don't agree with all that any person says and thinks. I don't agree with everything that I said and thought as recently as yesterday. :)

I don't belong to any organized political party, but if I did, I seriously doubt I would agree with everything they said or did.

I think the question should be whether we agree with ANYTHING our political party does... that would be a shorter list, for me. I support my political party because I believe it would cause far less damage than the other party.

I tend to agree with about 90 percent of what my party leaders do and say. There are 2 leaders, actually 1 in particular that I do not agree with most of the time, and I hope he does not run for prez.

I used to be a Republican, but switched to the Dems after the religious right became a powerful force in the GOP. I now categorize myself as a reluctant Democrat.

When I moved to DC ten years ago, I was idealistic about politics and government. Now that I have seen administrations from both parties and developed friendships with political appointees from both parties, I find myself increasingly jaded. Neither party upholds stellar ethics and politicians have the biggest egos I have ever encountered. It's very distressing.

OK, so I am not the only one! I thought there were issues with the theory! I can't even imagine a party filled with "me's"! I have strong feelings that some would say were Dems, some tend toward Repub., and I just have to hope I make the best decision! I would never take responsibility for what one party does!

I tried being independant for a few years, but they wouldn't let me vote in the primary election.

Luken, I have become jaded just living 44 years in this world, and watching the local politics. Can't imagine how I would feel in your situation!

Generally speaking,I agree with most pf the platform of the democrats..I do disagree on a few things. I do disagree with the ACTIONS of members of my party on many occasion..I don't vote strickly along party lines..I have occasionally voted Republican and may someday vote for a Republican again, although,at this point,it might be a long time before I ever do that

I totally agree with everything Luke wrote. Well except I don't live in DC, but the more involved I've gotten in local politics the more I realized politicians are seldom more than pompous egotistical blowhards selling their momma's soul for a vote.

I used to be pretty happy as a Democrat but lately I've felt more and more dissatisfied with what the DNC represents now. I am seriously considering changing my party affiliation to Libertarian.
