Do we switch out of BCR in February

Hi there,
Despite an offer to "upgrade" we decided to stay-put despite the convention center construction, figuring it wouldn't have a really big impact on our stay. Now, I found out last night that the YC Admiral Pool and Beach Club tidal pool will both be closed for refurbishment while we are there. I'm starting to sweat the situation a bit between construction and more crowded pools. We can switch to Contemporary for the same price. Should we do it? We love BCR but would really hate to have a bad experience. Can anyone shed any light on this?

If you're going to use the pools a lot, maybe. We maybe go to the pool once during the week, so that's not a huge deal breaker for me. Is the construction visible? I'm not a fan of visible construction, so I might move for that. We love BC, but we like the CR too. It's just a different feel.

I got this offer a few months ago for my February trip. I was offered the Polynesian or Grand Floridian. I almost stayed put but decided to move to the Grand because I had never stayed there. I hope I don't regret it.

In February, I don't know if I would make the pool a big factor in my decision. I know the weather fluctuates, but the last time we went in February (2015), it was in the high 50's the whole time, except our last day, so we only swam once. I also don't think the quiet pools attract enough people to make a huge impact on SAB when they are closed (except for the BCV quiet pool). The convention center is pretty removed from the main resort.

CR is a lovely resort and I wouldn't hesitate staying there. For me, it would be about which location is best - EP or MK. I've lived through construction and refurbs at many WDW resorts and, except for the massive construction at GF a few years ago, I was never really inconvenienced by it and at GF, it was just an eyesorek. We still had a nice trip.
