We leave in 5 days!!!

I originally had a room only and called today to add the dining plan.

They had to redo the reservation and gave me a new number. The man assured me that there would be no problem using the baggage labels for the Magical Express that we received in the mail as there would be no time to mail new ones.

I was skeptical and called back to talk to a different CM who said, it "shouldn't" be a problem, but that we might want to just get our own bags from baggage claim and take them on the bus.

We are traveling with a baby, stroller, carseat and a ton of stuff to begin with and the whole reason we were staying on site was to avoid the airport baggage hassle.

Do you think it will be OK to use the labels we have? Should I write a note on them?

When you arrive in Orlando you have to check-in with ME. I would explain the situation to them & they should be able to handle it from there. For people who don't get their luggage tags before leaving home they just need your baggage claim check numbers to get your luggage. So they should be able to get your bags if you leave the ME tags off.

If you didn't change resorts when you changed to the package, the first CM is correct. If you were staying at Pop Century on a room-only reservation and are now staying at Pop Century on a package with the Dining Plan, your DME tags still reflect the correct information.

ITA with this. As long as your resort did not change, any changes to your package are irrelevant with regards to DME. You should be fine.

If you use yellow baggage labels from an older packet, bring that stub (from which you tore them off) with you also.

You may cross out the resort name on the yellow tag and write in another resort name if you had made a change and new tags did not arrive in time. Don't cross out the bar code.
