Do we really need a stroller?

Just FYI, our local Walmart sells super-cheapo single umbrella strollers for $12.50. They don't seem to have them on-line, so I don't know if they are the same price everywhere, but that is a lot cheaper than the WDW daily rental price of $15.

Wow, if I can find strollers that cheap, I'll just buy them and bring them along just in case. The cheapest umbrella strollers I found at my local Target were $39.99.
Another question- flying Airtran, already need to bring along the kids' backless booster car seats for the rental car and I think I'll be able to gate check them. Do you think they'll make me pay if I bring strollers too?

Only thing with a cheap stroller and heavier kids is the wheels aren't made to take the weight and they bend and don't push well.

Before our first trip, when the kids were almost 4 and 7, we started walking as a family at our local park. We walked every Sunday afternoon for months before our trip. This helped to build up everyone's stamina. We never needed a stroller.
