Do We Need Reservations?

We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge in March and on our first day after check-in we are going to the Contemporary Resort to look around and then taking the monorail to the Grand Floridian and also to the Poly. We thought we'd like to have lunch at one and a drink or coffee at the others, before we go back to the WL and dinner at Artist Point (ADR of course for that). How hard will it be to get lunch at one of those resorts (Kona or GF Cafe)? We'd really like to just take our time and not be tied down to a schedule that day, except for dinner.

Is there a place at any of these resorts where you can just get a drink or coffee without feeling like to have to order a meal?

Thanks. Nora

Lunch at the resort hotels is generally the easiest meal to get in via walk-up since most folks are out and about at that time of day. For coffee, try the Kona Island Cafe Coffee Bar at the Poly. There are comfortable chairs around the main lobby to sit in and enjoy the view of the indoor garden and waterfall.

If you are going during a busy time of year, I would get ADV; if not I would just stop in.
