Do we need ressis for lunch or can you just show up?

Not enough information. How many of you? When are you going (what month)? We went the first week in September last year (as we are this year) and every table service establishment was turning people away at dinner and at lunch if they did not have adr's. The signs in front of City Hall and Guest Services indicated that all table service establishments were booked and to please try one of the counter service establishments.

We make ADR's for any meal we are doing at a TS, even if we might not need them in the end. Most park restaurants you will need them, a lot of resort ones you might not since people tend to stay in the parks during lunch time.

We will be going at the end of Sept and the first week in Oct. This may change things. Thank you.

While you may get better walk up seating at a resort than one of the parks, I totally agree with making ADRs for any TS meal; I just don't want to risk a walk-up or a long wait. KatMark is also right, when you first enter a park, you can check Guest Relations first thing that morning for available times but it is at your own risk. FWIW.

For TS I'd try for a ressie. You can always try to walk up or stop by Guest Services to change/make a same day ADR, but I would have a plan (even if the alternative is just a CS option).

We were able to snag a Coral Reef ADR prior to our trip; it was the hardest one to secure and we took a 2ish lunch slot for 3 people. Loved the break during a park day. Also loved our food and experiece there. No way you could walk up there; lobby was jammed with those with ADRs waiting for a table.

By the way there will be two uf us. Since we will be going durning the W&F we arn't sure if we are going to need any because of the food stands. What is the cancellation policy?

Unless you have to give a credit card to hold the ADR, you can cancel at anytime. The ones that come to mind that require a cc are CRT, Princess in Norway, and the signature restaurants.

We had an 11:30 ADR for lunch at LeCellier last May, that was the first lunch seating. There were three families who walked in and asked if they could get in and they couldn't get in at all.

I would make the ADRs for lunch if you think you'll need one, and then cancel it if you decide you don't need it.
