Do we need FOTL if we have 7 day tickets

We bought the 7 day 2 park tickets last year when they had such a good deal ($100 per ticket) Anyway, since we have that much time would it really be necessary to stay on site so that we could have the FOTL pass. Or just know we will cover one section of a park each day and not worry about lines, etc.

This would be our first trip. Would be husband, myself, and sons ages 12 and 9. Thought we could save some money by just staying off site.

It would be s summer month, June or July. We have never been so do not know anything about what to expect. We know we need FP at DIsney but that is 4 parks and we usually only stay for 4 -5 days and see everything.

Didn't know if we could do 2 parks in 7 days without FOTL passes.

Thanks for any info

Yeah...you won't have any problems doing both parks in seven days w/o Express passes. It's busy in the summer but it's still doable.

It's doable, but do you really want to spend most of your time waiting in LOOOOOONG lines in the summer heat???
Why not spend part of your time on site?

For our next trip, we're going to use our 7 day passes as well. We'll do the off-season but we're still going to stay on-site. I figure we'll spend a few days on-site and then move to a different location. The perks of on-site are worth it to me, but I don't feel I need those benefits for all 7 days.

Its definitely doable. We went one year in August. Just make sure you're at the park at rope drop. We found the lines weren't too bad until around noon.

I'd rather go two or three days with Express Pass than a week without it.

Thanks for all the advice. I think we will try to stay on site maybe 2 nights and get everything we want to get done then the other days will just be at our pace without stressing.

That's a good plan! That way you will get three full days of express.
