DH and I are here for a quick last-minute weekend visit. Would we need an ADR for breakfast at Trail's End on Sunday morning? Just did a quick search on MDE app and the times we were offered were later than we like.

TIA!

I'm in the same boat. While not at WDW now, am considering this for a last minute Sun morning thing for my fall vacation. I've been there at dinner (with a ressie) and there were many empty tables because it is out of the way for many park guests. My gut instinct is it probably isn't needed unless 1) its a holiday long weekend or during peak attendance eg holidays, March Break, peak summer, etc. or 2) you have a large party.

Thanks - I think we'll chance it. Checking out that morning, have a car (I know we'll have to park at Ft. Wilderness and take internal bus) and don't have FP+ until lunchtime, so we can wait if need be!

I have never needed at reservation for breakfast or dinner to eat at Trails End. The longest I have had to wait for dinner is 1/2hr and never had a wait for breakfast other then waiting for them to open up. We're early birds. :goodvibes

Trail's End has become much more popular. The last few times I went as a solo diner I had a hard time getting in. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. It was a bit of a wait as well. It surprised me both times that NOT having an ADR was such an issue...That being said, I would chance it again if I really wanted to dine there! Good luck!

You could also look the night before or even morning of. You can make ADR's 20 minutes in advance, so there's really no reason not to. If you still don't find a time, wing it.

We went there for Thanksgiving breakfast (around 9:30/10am) before horseback riding and there were maybe 3 other families. Have fun! Food and atmosphere were great.

I agree that Trail's End has become more popular. We love it, but have only been there for dinner. It is enough off the beaten track that it is not on everyone's radar. We make ADRs for dinner because I'm a planner, but I think you could chance winging it for either meal.

Just as a followup, we did go without an ADR - we were checking out of POR and had to pack and drop off luggage at the RAC before driving to FW, parking & catching the internal bus; weren't sure how long all that would take. We arrived at Trail's End just before 10:00 and were told the wait would be 45 minutes, but it ended up being around 30. So we would have done well to have an ADR, if we had been better able to estimate when we would get there!
