Since by one son is rather short for his age we will not be able to ride Hulk, Doctor Dooms Fearfall amd Dueling Dragons. And is Suess Landing for 7 & 8 yr olds...or younger kids.

I think you could enjoy yourselves better if you DID take the day. There are other things to do other than the rides you mentioned. Seuss Landing is a great area for all ages...I love Cat in the Hat and I'm 40. Jurassic Park River Adventure and Discovery Center are fun as are The Flying Unicorn, P-Flyers and let's not forget Spiderman and the water rides. Don't forget Poseidon's Fury and the Sinbad Stunt Show.

Take the day and enjoy yourselves.

DD is still not tall enough for those and IOA is at least a full day park for her.

Anyone can enjoy the attractions in Seuss Landing, except for the playground. I'm 20, and I may not ride the other attractions on a regular basis, but I at least hit Cat in the Hat on almost all my visits to IOA. I'm also able to enjoy the park without riding the coasters. In fact, I've never been on them.
