Do we have to pay to park?

We are staying at All Star Music so we can get the free dining, but we will be traveling in our RV. Can we park the RV in the parking lot for free, or will we have to pay for it? It's our vehicle. We will be parking it for the duration of our stay since we will be using the Disney busses.

Thank you so much.

I'm fairly certain that parking at the resorts is free for guests. So, I think you should be fine!

I'm not sure about the All Star resorts, but there are some resorts where RV parking is not allowed. It has to do with how the parking is set up at that particular resort.

If it's not allowed at All Star, they will just ask you to move it somewhere that it is allowed, and there is no charge. IIRC, I think you should be OK.

What other facilities/amenities are available?

Cinema Hall (the resort center) offers check-in and guest service facilities (including express check-out), a 24-hour front desk, a film-inspired food court with five marquee venues, a gift shop, arcade and playground. Additionally there is free parking as well as RV/Truck parking, limited room service (pizza delivery), laundry facilities (near Fantasia Pool) and daily housekeeping.

It's free. They'll probably direct you to the area of parking they'd prefer you to be in.

Any particular reason why you're not staying at Fort Wilderness??

Except at a campground (e.g. at Fort Wilderness) nobody may sleep in the RV.

It is actually my parents RV. We are all meeting up at WDW. We are staying at ASMu and they found it to be cheaper to stay there and get free dining than to stay at FW. They have a big rig and would need a super premium spot at FW, so financially, this makes the most sense and they will also be nearer to us, ideally.

Thanks everyone for the answers. I knew you all would know!

They can't stay in the RV though in a parking lot at Disney.

I don't think they're sleeping in the RV.

Fort Wilderness does NOT work with free dining plan. At the same time, a premium site can cost well over a $100 per night. Which in the end can be comparable to staying at a value resort, without all the headaches of setting up and breaking down camp.

That is not to say, that Fort Wilderness campers can not get a dining plan added to their package, but they can non participate in the free dining promotion.

Sounds like the whole family is staying at ASMu, don't think anyone's staying in the RV during this stay.

OP that allears wording worries me..."free parking and RV parking"...

OP here,
nobody will be sleeping in RV, all will be sleeping in ASMu rooms. They will be traveling to WDW in their RV and will need to park it. I'm just wondering if they can park it in the ASMu lot and if we will have to pay to park there for the duration of the trip.

They would absolutely need a premium spot at the Fort. Their RV is long and has deep slide outs on both sides, so they need the space. My dad and I both did the math and it is cheaper to stay at ASMu with free dining than to stay at the Fort. They wouldn't be eating any meals in the RV anyway, so that would not be a savings like it would be for many others.
