Do we have time for Kennedy Space Center?

Hi! We’re renting a car and our PAT is 1:30, do we have time to have a decent visit to Kennedy space center? I saw it opens at nine and is about 20 minutes from the port. We are going to park at the port. Thanks so much!

Unfortunately, no. KSC’s main attraction involves a long bus ride around the complex to reach the hall with the rockets. There are plenty of other things to do after you get back to the main hub. It’s at least a full day visit, and more a day-and-a-half one. I would not rush it in half a day.

Agree. You won’t have time. Unless you have free passes, that would be a complete waste of money to try to rush that. Granted you don’t need a full day but I don’t think you’d enjoy it.

You don't HAVE to arrive at the port at your PAT, but obviously you need to be on board before 3:45 pm. Presuming you are already in the Orlando/PC area the morning of, you probably could see a lot in five hours...keeping a close eye on the clock and doing the bus tour first thing instead of waiting until later. To me, it would come down to when you might come back to the area.
