Do We Get Side Items On DDP at Yachtsman?

As I understand it the Yachtsman is ala cart, so is all that I get for dinner the steak? Or if I order a side is that included with the DDP?

So would I be able to get say, steak, salad & potato on the plan?

The steaks are served with some sort of potato usually...dutchess, mashed, fries but you'd have to pay for a salad unless you are on the deluxe plan which includes an appetizer.

Sides are not included unless they are listed as accompanying the entree (the menu shows that most of the entrees are accompanied by some sort of potato, but you would not be entitled to the sides that are priced separately) and you would be eligible for a salad only on the deluxe plan, where you could get the salad as your appetizer.

Last year at Artist Point we were told that we could orders sides as part of the deluxe plan ... appetizer, entree plus an extra side & dessert! I don't know if other signatures do that? Particularly the Yachtman? It was way too much food but nice to get the sample some of the extras.

I believe that Artist Point is the only Signature that allows the extra side. I've eaten there three times in the past year on the DxDDP and the first time the second side was not offered, but the other two times it was. I've always been able to sub whatever came with the buffalo with the sweet potatoes that are listed on the bottom of the menu under sides. The last two times I've ate there I was told I could get my sweet potatoes, plus another side if I didn't want what came with my entree. All three trips I ate at alot of Signatures and Artist Point is the only one that allowed the extra side. Now Yachtsman has always allowed me to switch sides, but not get an extra one. I don't eat white potatoes and they've always allowed to order one of the sides listed at the bottom of the menu. One credit restaurants always allow me to switch out the potatoes for another side as long as it comes with an entree, but have not allowed me to choose one from the bottom of their menus.
