Do WDW pregnant, or wait until after

I have been there at 3 months and 6 months pregnant. As long as you're not sick, you can still go and have a good time. The biggest thing that bothered me was food restrictions (sushi, wine, soft cheeses, lunchmeat, etc.) and not being able to ride rollercoasters, but I knew I'd be back soon enough. If you have DVC points and know you're coming back, I say two trips!

I have to agree. I know that each woman handles her pregnancy differently but for me it was all I could do to keep my eyes open until noon. I was easily exhausted and something about the Disney food gave me serious heartburn.

By the way Vettechick, we were there the same time frame. Did you get stuck in that deluge at the beginning of the week? We were in Epcot that afternoon and got SOAKED! My husband was not happy. He was so unhappy that he nixed the next day's water park day because he was "tired of being wet".:lmao: The only thing that made it any better was being in the Biergarten drinking a beer and watching our 19 month old daughter dance the polka with her brother. He was fine after that.

Yup! I always have great pregnancies, but it's still exhausting even if you take lots of breaks.

Yes, we did have some of that rain. It really put a damper on our trip. Glad the rest of the trip was nice!!

I went with 3 of my 4 pregnancies and thought it was fine. You're a mom, you're not going to be surprised at having to slow down a bit or skip some of the rides. I've also gone with a baby as young as 8 months and that was waaaaaaaay more work than pregnant. Still fun, but that certainly influences my vote.

What does your gut tell you? I'd say go with that and be happy with it. :thumbsup2

We just got back from Disney last Sunday and we noticed a lot of pregnant woman at Disney and all that we saw had that beautiful baby glow and seemed to be managing just fine in the heat. I would say go with what works for your family - it could be a fun vacation with your other children before the new baby comes along. As long as you listen to your body when it tells you it needs a rest and keep yourself hydrated - I think you will be fine.

Congrats by the way!:)

The last two times that I went, I was pregnant. The first time I was about 3 months and the second time (with a 2 1/2 year old), I was 5 months. I had a great time although I couldn't go on some rides and it was hot. But if you have a choice, i would go pregnant instead of going with a baby.
