My father-in-law will be using an ECV for our entire trip due to cancer. Will we be able to put it in a van taxi? I know the resorts have van taxis which will fit all 7 of our party. Thanks in advance!
The Resorts do not have any taxis. Mears Transportation, which owns most of the taxis in the Orlando area, has about 20 accessible van taxis. But I don't know if they could handle seven people including a chair or ECV.
But if you are staying on property all the buses are accessible, and they don't cost anything.

The accessible van taxis are not much bigger than a regular taxi. They generally have to fold up the rear seats to load a wheelchair/ECV. When my wife & I use one to go off-site, my wife has to ride up front with the driver.
Before ME was introduced, I always rode to Disney in a Mears wheelchair van (not the yellow cabs which are also owned by Mears). This was the same size as those 7-8 seater vans that they use for bigger groups, but with half the seats removed to make space for two wheelchairs. I doubt they can seat more than three or four passengers other than the two wheelchairs.
