Do Universal Park passes expire??

Do Universal Park passes expire?? I saw a couple for sale on Craigslist by my house and was wondering if I should be leary about them or not. I'm no sucker, so I'd confirm that these passes are legitimate before buying, but the seller says the passes are a few years old.

Is this an annual pass or regular park tickets? All passes and tickets expire so I would pass on these tickets.
