what is the crowd level like 1st weekend in Oct? My sister is going, and I told her to stay on site. The rates are higher then they were for me the 1st week in Aug. Will she really need fotl? My concern is that it is a weekend, so there may be many locals. Thanks for any advice.

We arrive on the 3rd, check out on the8th. There is a Halloween party at least one of those nights, so I would think that they would be busy with people coming down for those. I know we were at Disney (Poly) that same weekend two years ago for a party and the Poly was fully booked and crowds were high.

I went two years ago in October.....the 7th to the 10th. To be honest, since I was staying on site I didn't even pay attention to the crowds. We just casually strolled into the Express Lines and went on anything we wanted. I can't imagine not having the FOTL even if the crowds are low. It is really nice to have the luxury of hopping from ride to ride with minimal waits.
A group of us are returning this October (11-14th....my first HHN!!!) and I sold all of them on going once I explained the FOTL access. They love the idea of being able to hit all of the rides multiple times and still have plenty of time to get to Happy Hour!!

We went last year, Oct 1-5 and had no problems at all with crowds. We even went through the non-FOTL lines a few times, without much wait.
