Do tickets have expiration dates?

I saw the tickets on the Universal site that are $99, pay for 2 days and get 3 additional days free. I'm wondering if they have expiration dates. The way I understand it is they are good for 5 consecutive days once you use it, is that correct? What I'm asking though, we are not sure when our trip will be, possibly this summer, if I were to buy the tickets now, do I have to use them by a certain date? Thanks!

There is no expiration until you use them for the first time.
