This may sound like a silly question but some of the Atlantic coast beaches have been having a problem with high bacteria levels lately. A few beaches have even been closed.
Does anyone know what the procedure is in Indian River county? Do they test the water every so often? I'm not too worred, we're not going to be drinking it but we do enjoy playing in the waves and sometimes you get it in your mouth.
Just curious. If anyone is familiar with this issue, I'd love to hear from you.
Again, I'm not panicing. We have this problem quite a bit at some of the beaches here in Michigan after a big rain storm.
Thanks for any info.
