Do they still have hand sanitizer throughout the parks?

When I was there in mid-July, half were gone and most of the ones left were not being refilled during the day. Very, very disappointed in Disney since in March I found this very useful... grab some going in and when exiting the attraction. I'm always packing plenty of my own but more of a hassle to get at it.

As others have said, they're still all over, but it's hit or miss whether they're actually functioning. I have a loop thing I attach mine to so I can have it outside my bag and easily accessible whenever I want/need it.

Best to have your own sanitizer easily accessible and ready to use. I was there last week and while hand sanitizer dispensers were everywhere at least half of them were empty.

I just want to add, that even if they have sanitizer in them the stuff they use is horrible! After a few uses it starts to pile up on your hands like you had dried glue on them, just a weird feeling over all. After my trip last august I decided I would bring my own. I get the little bottles from bath and body works that attach to my bag, and usually bring several with me for the family (4-5, although we never run through them all, there was the time my youngest was playing with it while I walked and it fell without me knowing so it was good to have plenty of extras on hand). They do sell the in the gift shops for not a lot of money so if you don't bring enough it's easy to get.

It’s just forming a protective layer on your hands :crazy2:

Totally agree, the stuff they use is cheap, and nasty. It makes your hands slimey, and eventually, you end up having to go wash it off. I make sure we always have some on hand. Like you, from B&BW. We purchased some of the holders with clips off of ETSY, and they're very useful and handy. And, they're in Disney themed material. I love our HM and Orange Bird holders. I love having them on my belt loop, and ready at a moment's notice. We pack 10 bottles each for our trips, since they usually have them on sale.

Pack a lot. We are here now, and almost all dispensers have been empty. We are using hand wipes, but stop in bathrooms several times a day to wash our hands with soap and water.

Just wondering how much to pack.
Just got back yesterday.
The good news:There are hand sanitizer stations throughout the park and also at the beginning of most official queues and exits of attractions and usually at the front of most restaurants
The bad news : 80% are empty. You put your hand under and nothing.

So I would pack some in your park bag. I felt like I was Sharona from the old TV series Monk, whipping out a hand sanitizing wipe periodically to hand to my granddaughter, who couldn't stop dragging her hands over .every. single. handrail. througout. every. queue. Winnie the pooh queue was fun, but everyone dragging their hands over the changing wall was not optimal in my opinion.

But we had a great time and people were masking up inside and on queues, didn't see any people giving the cast members a hard time or the "chin mask" wearers I see a lot at home

Lots of reports that dispensers are empty. IIRC, one report said that they tried 16 dispensers before getting any sanitizer!
When I was there July 9-19th, the dispensers were all empty by the end of the day. At the beginning of the day they were not. Maybe they're only filling them once per day?

When I was there in April they were all full but like others, I carried my own and the little individual packs of anti-bacterial wipes. I like the wipes if I'm going to sit down to eat at QS or at FW tables because I can wipe off my hands then wipe off the table, you know you are going to touch that table on purpose or not. I don't really worry about the virus on the table but they are usually just pretty nasty from previous people not cleaning up after themselves. I also found myself going to the bathroom and washing my hands with soap and water more often. At the time, they were supposed to have the hand washing stations outside around the parks but I never could find one. Too bad they took them out, seems to me like something they should have around just like water fountains.

I would so much rather them have little hand washing stations than their sanitizer because it was gluey feeling. We used our own most of the time. Also noticed a kid holding his hand under to make it squirt out but moving his hand so it just piled onto the tray. ugh.

That is really kind of sad! Disney should keep them filled if they are going to have them out....I wonder if you can ask a cast member if they get filled? I would suggest you bring your own..not that expensive and you know you always have it at hand. I will be bringing my own along with wipes.

Just reiterating that they were mostly empty on our trip last week. It was rare to find one working! Caveat: We went around lunch and closed the parks down, so maybe they fill them overnight, but they are already empty in the afternoon? If that's the case, they need to refill them! That being said, when we did find some, it was gooey and not a good quality. We just carried our own to use, and we washed hands in the restroom frequently. One of the only benefits of having a bladder condition that keeps you in the restroom 2-3x/hour :flower:

In the WDW bubble now, and I agree the hand sanitizing stations are mostly empty. We brought our own and use it frequently.
