Do they share character outfits?

Do you think the people who are in the character outfits are the same character in the same outfit or do you think they share outfits?

Reason I ask is eeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwww think of the sweat and other body germs you could get.

Eeeuuuwwwghh I never thought of that before!

I'm not sure, but I would think so. They must be able to clean them though - I've seen characters out in the pouring rain, so their feet, cloaks etc must be really muddy by the end of the day.

Also have seen 2 or 3 different ladies wearing the princesses costumes, but don't know if they each have their own set.

I do not know about DLRP but at WDW, all employees share the same outfits. They have a wardrobe department and the cast members exchange their dirty or worn costume/uniform for a fresh clean one.

As for the characters, there are several people who potray a certain character and one person can play several characters. They do have multiple character costumes and more than likely, they are cleaned on a regular basis. In WDW, there can be as many as 10 people or more who play the part of Mickey Mouse. I'm not certain but I would think it is similar at DLRP.

well, i don't want anyone to think i'm anti-disneyland - i'm about to go on my 3rd trip in 7 months!!
buuuuuut i had a parisian au pair when eurodisney just opened and she knew some people who worked there.
she told me two stories about it - one was that snow white was ill and they dragged her friend out from behind a till to 'be' her, and the other was that somebody got crabs from a costume.
so - yeah - eeeeeeeeew.

i hope they wash them often too as goofy is very keen on my baby chewing his hand!

I would more say EEEWWWWWW to the fact that all the guests rub their hands and faces against the suits!!!!!

If your a character performer you have your own sets of tights and a t shirt that goes on under the bodysuits, you happily sweat into these and the main costumes themselves (that you share) aren't affected. You do get fresh ones each time you re-dress.

the only gross thing is the heads...you share those and after a few sessions and sweating (especially in summer) lets just say it gets a bit condensationy...

Besides mice don't perspire much!
