Do they deliver newspapers or anything?

This will be my first time staying onsite. As I have mentioned over & over again. i was wondering, do they deliver anything to the rooms, like a newspaper or newsletter? Something to let you know of the days Disney events? Just wondering!

Each resort has its own little newsletter and you are given a copy at check in. You are given all the info you need at check-in for restaurants, etc. and then each day at the park make sure you get that day's schedule. They have them available everywhere.

Also if something should change they will slip a note under the door.

And you can always turn on the Disney Information channel. Not the Krissa and her top seven one, but one that shows park hours, different activities, whether paterns, etc. It'll be on your resort TV. We usually have it on for 20 mins or so while getting ready to see what's what that day.

During our stay at the Poly before Easter, they delivered a complimentary copy of the USA Today every morning. I'm not entirely sure but I don't think we got the same thing at AKL when we moved there later that week.

There is newspaper delivery mon - fri at all the deluxe resorts. Otherwise, there won't be anything delivered to your room, unless there is news WDW needs to get to all it's guests, or the guests of a particular hotel.

Sometimes they will leave a voice message on your phone if there are changes in the schedule for a park on short notice, or special events going on that you might need to plan for or plan around. (One year, we got a VM telling us that the Super Soaps Weekend was going on, and advising us to avoid the Disney-MGM Studios park...an hour or so later, we got another message to 'clarify' the first one, inviting us to join the crowd at the Disney-MGM Studios for Super Soaps Weekend, and to be aware that crowds will be larger than normal, but all rides and attractions will be open and operating as usual in addition to the special events, and telling us what hours the other parks will be open. Bet that first Cast Member got a good talking to! )
