Do they ask for proof of age

I can't believe some people would try to cheat Disney or anywhere else like that! Just because the child is small for their age, they are still a certain age. Pay for the age she is.

My DS is small for his age too, he is three, and I could never say he was under three to get him in for free. That is just WRONG!! Do the right thing!!

Lil'DisneyMom - Relax I never said I was doing it. It was only a question.

JPN4265 - I was not justifying a thing. It was a question.

How is it any worse than sharing the picture cd?(which I am not doing) Those are for each family not for a huge group of people that don't even know each other.

What about when an adult orders off the kids menu? They are not kids?

all4fun - thank for the links. I think she will be able to ride most of it.

We are getting the dinning plan so I want her on as an adult so she can order off the adult menu anyways. Works out better.

They do not ask for proof of age.

Personally, I would buy the adult ticket. My DD is also 10, and quite small for her age. However, she can read <G>, and if she looked at her pass, which she certainly will do, she would notice that the child pass says "age 3-9" on it, and for sure she would call me on it. I wouldn't do something dishonest like that and have her know that I did it, then think that dishonesty is okay.

I'm sure you could do it and most likely get away with it. But I think that our children learn from us by watching these small things, and they always notice.

I'm glad you said something. I was about to comment as well yesterday but knew that if I did I'd say something really ugly. I needed time to calm down. :rolleyes1

I'm a little suprised at how quickly people here jumped all over a newer person to these boards. :confused3

All she did was ask a simple question. If you didn't like the content, you didn't have to answer...there's absolutely no need to get rude. We all share a love of Disney, so let's share our information instead of insults! :grouphug:

I'd venture to say that most of you out there have also downloaded music illegally (and if you haven't, I can guarantee you that your children have) or had a friend burn a copy of one of their CD's or let you use software they purchased. :music:

People in glass houses...*

*myself included. I'm not saying I've never done these things, but you don't see me lambasting this woman either.*

No, they won't ask for proof of age. I wouldn't pay too much attention to what some posters who live for these threads have to say. Half of them would probably do the opposite anyway. It's easy to be morally superior on your computer when it doesn't cost you a cent and makes you look and feel like a million bucks. Enjoy your trip!

Notice: I answered the OP's question, not force mine or anyone elses morales or beliefs upon her.

My DD is 9 but she is as tall as a 12 year old, should I pay adult because of her height? In which case I only have myself to blame, darn my genetics!

Honestly, I think I would feel strange not paying adult.

That is why I want to go again for the "DD is still 9" trip right before her birthday.

i would say she is a child you need the 40.00 more than they do they have no problem sticking it you by chargeing 3.00 for a bottle of water so get it while you can god will understand.

My dd is 10, will be turning 11 shortly after our upcoming trip, but could easily pass for 9.

I will admit, I was tempted to just get a child's ticket, but I'm not a good liar, and I don't think I could keep up the charade for 10 days! I would constantly be worried that they'd figure it out and kick us out or something (ok, I'm a little paranoid!)

They already know her true age from previous trips, so what if it shows in the computer at a restaurant or something? I just decided it didn't feel right.

I paid for the 10 day adult admission ticket, the adult MVMCP ticket, and I'll be paying adult prices at all the meals even though she eats like a bird. I decided that if it bothered me to pay that much for her, I'd just have to pick a cheaper vacation spot, and I'm not willing to do that!

Thanks to everyone who answered my question & did not have a panic attack.

GBShorts mbtileguy & pmiranda Thanks!
