Do the TVs at the resorts have an AV input so that I can review the day's shoot?

I'd like to think I can do some discarding each night to clear up memory space, and that tiny little monitor on the camera just isn't enough for these old eyes of mine.
I'm guessing that most resorts have the same TVs, but specifically I'm interested in the Boardwalk.

I have no idea what the answer for your question is - but lucky you, staying at the Boardwalk. We stopped by there on our last trip and it was beautiful! One day, we'll save up enough money to stay there (the atmosphere and entertainment outside is great)...but for now, I'll just have to be happy with POR. :goodvibes

They did the last time we stayed at the Boardwalk in 2001 and in several subsequent stays in other hotels on property.

Since then I just copy to a laptop and do not use the tv's any more.

Annewjerz--We are lucky to be DVC owners there. We love it! We call early and have been getting Boardalk view rooms. If you really want to stay there, you should look into renting points. It saves a lot of money and is really easy. We rented my SIL points to stay at VWL--she saved about 50%.
I stayed quite a number of times at Dixie Landings before it was POR Riverside. There's a lot to be said for the peace and quiet and beauty there as well.

We'll be going in December 09, want to rent me points??? ;) I would love to stay at any of the Deluxes around Christmas time, I can only imagine the decorations are probably spectacular and would make it that much more special.

Some do, some dont. I beleive TVs are changed out as rooms are renovated. It's best to call the resort and ask them. If they dont know, ask the last time the resort was refurbished.

CSR had them, pretty sure POP had them also..

We also bring our laptop, both so we can review pictures and so we can offload content. If that's not an option, though, you could look into something like this:

RF Modulator

If that doesn't bring up the correct site, try searching Best Buy, or your favorite electronics store, for an RF Modulator. They can be had pretty cheap ($20 or so) and they convert your line outputs to a standard coax. With that, if your TV doesn't have A/V inputs you can run into the TV via the coax cable.

I don't know the answer to your question but will add that I have read culling out pictures as you shoot increases your chance of having corrupted files and/or a problem with your memory card. Not sure it's true but it kind of makes sense that formatting and writing only to a card would be more reliable than deleting and writing over a bunch of files. As cheap as memory is these days I am avoiding chimping & culling unless it is absolutely necessary.

We have always been able to use the TVs at Boardwalk to view our pictures. Carry a small mirror and flashlight to help find the connection (if it is on the back, as they have been). On our last trip about a month ago our room had a LCD TV and we did not try it.

we carry an electronics assortment.
the av converter as mentioned above
a wireless router so we can share the internet cable (it worked once)

and if you want to undo the coax cable from the back of the TV you might need this tool.

Sometimes the tv has a plastic shield around the coax port so you can not easily remove the cable and hook up you own DVD or video games. they want you to buy them through the TV.
