Do the resort pools close?

I'm staying at the poly in April. This is the first time I've gone where I could consider swimming late, and I was wondering how late the pools stay open.

Also, I think it best that I swim after dark. The bright light shining on my pasty, white, flabby carcass might blind anyone else staring directly at me.

I think they all have different rules. Some of them close the pools and some leave them open 24 hours, they just have a certain number of hours during which the lifeguards are on duty and the waterslides are operational. Some close the main pool but leave the quiet pools open. Best thing to do is probably to call the Polynesian and ask.

Plus less people in the pool and quieter

For example on hours, the WL pool from March 9-13 when we were there had lifeguards to 10pm and were open to midnight
