We may be going in late August or September when my husband is on business during the days. I will go to parks alone with two boys then almost 2 and 5.

My 5yr old has an ASD so he definitely needs a stroller and the 2 year is rather quirmy and would need buckles. My 5 yr old is very big for his age so a double stroller from home is not an option (he's too big). We will have our single Maclaren's for when my DH is with us.

I will probably only go to parks until right after lunch and then head back to hotel for naps and relaxing.

The park strollers do have straps with buckles.
Here's a link from Deb Wills site with pictures of the strollers.

Many people with children with ASD have said their children really like the WDW strollers. The solid sides cut down on stimulation and the firm plastic of the strollers provide firm pressure that many kids with ASD like. (they look hard, but they are similar to the stuff that Little Tikes toys are made of - not hard, just firm).
If you want more information/hints about traveling with a chikd with ASD, please follow the link in my signature to the disABILITIES Board. There are some hints in the disABILITIES FAQs thread that might be helpful.
