Do the hold spots for non-DDP??

I just called last night (UGH!) to get my ADRs. I know I am late...my fault..it has gotten very busy during free DDP.

Since they always ask if you have DDP, do they hold spots for non-DDP? I wondered this since when you book the package there are only certain rooms and resorts that can be booked???

On an off note...I could not get a ressie at LC to save my life!!! I guess I will just have to dream about the cheese soup

They do not hold spots for those not on the DDP. They ask if you're using the DDP so they can give you the spiel about the DDP (how many TS's a restaurant is, etc) and also I think it helps them book the amount of time needed for your space. If you're on the DDP then you'll be getting dessert, if you're on the DxDDP you're getting an appetizer and a dessert and it'll take longer.

Don't know how they figure out how much time to book for those paying OOP though.
