Do the Disney hotels at Disneyland do the incremental payments?

I am planning a trip for Sept 2011 and want to have an exact amount of how much I need to save up/pay. Also it helps the relatives that want to tag along have a firm date of when we are going. Can I book now, pay a deposit and then do payments? I tried to Google it, but just kept getting info for WDW and third party booking sites, so forgive me if this has already been answered before.

If you book thru Disney Travel you CAN make payments on your package. You will need to pay a deposit at the time of booking & then the balance is due I believe 2-3 wks prior to arrival. We've done this many times in the past!!

Yes, you can do this even if you're just booking the hotel alone. I always do this and love that I can pay any way I wish--upon checkout, in a lump sum ahead of time, or payments of any type and any time I want. I just book directly through the hotel.

One note, though--I once tried to pay the remainder of my bill the day before my trip and was told it couldn't be done within 2 days of the trip. I'm not sure why, but I was disappointed about that since I wanted to put it on my dh's credit card and he wasn't coming with me :rotfl:.

Yes, that's what we always do. It helps us to save the money prior to the trip and you can make as large or small payments up until the 30 day mark. At that point, the remainder is due.
