Hi,

I want to get the TGV from CDG to Disneyland in September. Do the prices go up and down like they do for flights etc? If I wait are they likely to get cheaper or more expensive?

TIA!!!!

Hiya Paris*

How many are travelling? If the price seems good to you I would go ahead and book.
Are you flying from Dublin on the 6.30am flight? If so book the 11am train. You'll have time to spare but its best just incase theres a delay.
In March we (2 adults) paid €90 return from CDG to MLV-Chessy.
It was so handy but probably takes the same time as getting a shared shuttle with the wait time for the train.

In CDG you colect your baggage and head for Terminal 2 on the CDGval (signposted). This is the light rail that connects the Terminals. You then wait in the TGV concourse for the platform number to come up on the board (15-20 mins before due to depart). Then sit anywhere on the train as no one bothers really with assigned seats on the short journey (plus by the time you'd have hauled your luggage upstairs you'd be in Marne La Vallee!)

you can book ahead anytime up to 10 days in advance of travel on the TGV, and the price won't change. There are peak travel times on the TGV, you will pay more for those, regardless of when you book.

Thanks for the replies. We are flying from Shannon and will arrived in CDG at 14.25pm. We are staying in a local hotel until the following morning when we will head to DLP as early as possible :) At the moment our tickets for the TGV would cost about €77, glad to hear it won't go up as I won't be booking them for a while :cool1:
