I'd say only if you arrange for it ahead of time. I'd be surprised if you just walk out to the taxi stand and there's a car seat.

You have to ask the bellman to call for a taxi that has a car seat. You may be waiting awhile unless you prearrange this ahead of time for a specific time pick up.

Well, I see from your signature that your daughter is 5, so she wouldn't be legally required to be in one anyway.

Children 3 and under are legally required to be in a car seat in Florida, even in cabs. Whether all cab drivers follow the law -- I can't say.
