Do studios connect?

Do any of the DVC studios connect? We don't have enough points for our planned trip for a 2 bedroom. Thought maybe we could save points by renting 2 studios instead. I know we will loose the full kitchen, washer, and big bathroom this way. Can you request 2 studios next to each other?

I think I read that there are no side by side studios...that a studio is always next to a 1BR. I'm sure someone will be along soon to confirm or deny.

studios often connect to a 1BR...together, they make up a 2BR.

but studios never, ever connect to each other.

sometimes you can get studios near each other as a request, but it's never guaranteed.

There are a few studios right next door to each other, at least at OKW in the "U" shaped buildings. But they do not connect.
