Do strollers ever got stolen?

I read on here recently that someone posted about if you had a Disney Visa card, that stroller rental is free. Can anybody verify this? And if not now, can someone that is going to WDW, please check on this at the stroller rental and post back? I'd be very interested in knowing this.

The free stroller rental w/Disney Visa is at Disneyland only. If you have a Disney Visa you can go to the Chase site: http://www.chase.com/PFSCreditCardHome.html, log in and click on "view Disney offers" to see what is being offered at any given time. Currently under "Walt Disney World resorts" they are only offering a $50 onboard Credit on DCL and a free Character Meet 'n Greet (@ Epcot) where you get a free photo.

hth.

Thanks guys for the info about it being Disneyland and not Disneyworld. Yes, I've seen the offers on their site for card holders, but couldn't remember seeing the outcome post about the free stroller.

Bummer that they don't do it at both places :confused3

I had the same stroller theft concerns when we were going down in Dec. '04 with our brand-new Mac Quest..... the first day or two, I used a bike lock to secure the front wheels together (you can't attach it to anything in case a CM needs to move it). After a while, it got to be a major pain in the butt :rotfl: I stopped doing it and every time we came out of a ride/attraction, the stroller was there waiting for us :thumbsup2 My poor Mac is now a bit beat up-but hopefully that's a good thing :rotfl: so that it's hopefully not as appealing to a would-be thief when we go in 25 days??? :rotfl:

On top of that it is pretty gross to think about what may have happened in the stroller you get. You know diapers leak!

I just wanted to give my 2 cents on this actually-this was one of my concerns too until I saw the CM's at night absolutely dousing the strollers with hot, hot water and an antibacterial agent? upon returning them.... so I'm comfortable renting a stroller for one of my 2 girls if needed :thumbsup2

Nobody in our extended family has ever had a problem with getting a stroller taken at WDW. We use our own stroller, becsuee they come in handy outside the parks, too. Like at the resorts, at other Orlando attractions, at the airport, etc. The Disney strollers also seem a little bulky. WE also had good luck with leaving things in the stroller bins, but we never leave anything really valuable there.
