Do some sites have more space?

We will be driving down in January for 11 days:cool1:
We have 7 adults and 3 dogs. We have a fairly large RV and have had the same crew on other occasions but have always looked for a larger site in case we want to add a tent and just so we can spread out a bit. We have reserved a premium site. Is it true that loops 300 and 400 are smaller sites and more close together? We looked at some video tours on you tube and 800looked larger and a bit more in the woods. We have stayed in the cabins and like the feeling of isolation they give. Any suggestions on where we can get the same feeling in a loop?

Our favorite loop right now is the 800 loop......halfway through on the outside. We like to try different loops, so don't normally request a loop, but always book premium. The big space beyond the outer loop between the sites and canals is also a dog walk, but we quite enjoy seeing the pups and their owners walk by.....and we feel a little isolated in a good way back there.

If we get to go Labor Day, we won't request a loop and see where we end up. We're funny that way.

400 thru 1400 are premium. I'd say 700 and 800 have a more "isolated" feel.

We like 800 and 900, on a last trip we assigned to a site that was already full, we wound up in site 901 which was a corner site across from the comfort station and across from Meadows area pool and store. It was like having a large front fenced yard. We have a 30' and dually truck and had lots of room in the site.

Having stayed in all 3 levels of sites availible I have not really noticed any different in site distannces. The biggest difference is that premium sites have a larger wider poured pad. otherwise all of the sites where just as deep and just as close to your neighbor.

I personally like the preferred loops based on location, and if you need room for a tent, you should have it. I can park my 38' motorhome in the site and take the rear wheels to the end of the poured pad in the preferred and full hookup sites and still have room for a tent to setup on the crushed shell area at the back of the site.
